Bio-Data: Mustapha KADIRI is my name, I am a certified TEFL/TESOL
teacher of English with more than eight years teaching experience, aged 32
years old. I have recently got an Accredited
120-hour TESOL/TEFL Certificate from
World TESOL Academy accredited teaching certification. (Teaching English to
Speakers of Other Languages). I graduated from Ibn Zohr
University where I got my fundamental BA Degree and then I moved to the
ENS (École Normale Supérieure) in Rabat where I engaged in a one year TEFL
training program and got my Professional BA. Later, I engaged in a 120-hours
Training program supervised by foreign trainers in AMIDEAST in Rabat and
got the 120-hour PCELT certificate (Professional
Certificate of English Language Teaching) from World Learning SIT Institute in
Washington DC. USA. I am the coordinator and animator of the English
club “MATE CIRCLE” (Moroccan Association of Teachers of English Club
of Instructional Resources for Culture & Language Enhancement). I have also
participated in a number of EFL and TESL conferences as a speaker or a
participant either locally or nationally. I am very passionate about the
teaching profession along with learning different languages. My areas of
interest include: Applied Linguistics, TEFL issues, Teacher Professional
Development, Pedagogy, Andragogy, plus Human Development. My teaching
philosophy is based on an eclectic approach or what’s referred to as
“eclecticism” as opposed to the “one size fits all” traditional approach.
Nowadays we are teaching a generation of students who are technologically
oriented digital natives and we –teachers- should possess a high level of
instructional technology skills. I wholeheartedly believe that human beings
learn best when they’re enjoying in a fun and a stress free environment. Well,
for my character, generally speaking I am a very passionate person who
loves their job to a great extent. From passion to profession summarizes my
story with the English language teaching. I possess an outgoing, peaceful and
perseverant character. I am a positive and highly optimistic person by
all means, I cannot put up with negativity and narrow-minded people. I am a
person who strongly believes that hard work pays off.
