简介:

In my more than 20 years of teaching experience, I have ensured that planning, preparation, teaching, recording, assessment and reports have met the needs of the students and expectations of the school. Most of my students have achieved A* and A\'s in the CIE IGCSE and A\'s and B\"s in the CIE AS/A Level programs. Most of my students have gone on to further their education in the Science/Biological/Medical field in prestigious universities.

Additionally, having been the head of the Science Department, I am experienced in leading, mentoring, evaluating and supporting new teachers, implementing school-driven policies and programs and coordinating national and international science competitions.

I have also been active and supportive of co-curricular activities having been a supervisor and assessor for the IAYP Duke of Edinburgh Awards for Young People and a facilitator of the schools’ Media Club and Radio Station.

My love for teaching came later in life as my ambition as a child was to become a medical doctor, hence, my bachelor degree in Medical Technology, considered at that time as the best pre-medical course. Having realized that my true passion was for teaching, I took the required 18 units of education and has since been awarded with a Professional Teaching Certificate. In early 2022, I sat and passed the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers conducted by the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission with the rating of 89.60.

I also undertook a TESOL certification course in 2021 to better facilitate lessons with non-English speaking students.
